Another of my all time favourite bands are Bombay Bicycle Club. They are beautiful and have an amazing lead singer, Jack Steadman. His voice can just calm me right down when I need it most. I will be seeing them twice this year in York at the yorkbarbican and at Leeds Festival, which I am so very excited for!!!!

I believe I will have seen Mumford and Sons this year, they have a great range of songs which I sing along too (loudly may I add) whilst I drive. I absolutely love them, and the fact Mr Mumford is married to Carey Mulligan is a complete added bonus!

The Pigeon Detectives are completely individual. They have an upbeat, fun tunes which are great to dance to when feeling low or when you're with your mates having a good time. They are gorge!

The Civil Wars are a new folk band that I've just discovered, they have been around for a couple of years. Their voices are pure and soothing, definitely worth a listen.

Haim are the best girl band I have heard in many years, they bring retro cool into the 21st Century and this album has so many fabulous songs I would recommend them all. Plus I'm seeing them in December suckaas!

Leeds Festival 2011, and 2012, and 2013 were all so amazingg! From experience I can say it is the most fantastic weekend. It is probably the most refreshed site in my friend group for all the news and information about the greatest weekend. A thorough revelation in how I want to spend the rest of my Summers. Knee deep in mud, drink in hand and gorgeous music blasting my eardrums..
