Hating on Hay-fever.

I love Summer. But I am never prepared for the weather. My clothes are jumpers and jeans and pretty much nothing else.. Unless I go on holiday I never seem to have the clothes needed for a lovely British Summer. Plus I ALWAYSSS get hay-fever. Right now I am indeed, hating on hay-fever.. If not for my sunglasses I would not know what to do. They lovingly hide the red eyes and tears that like to appear whenever they wish. Hopefully many of you understand this pain, if you don't you have no idea how lucky you are! Like I said I love Summer and heat and long days. But I am never prepared like I should be..
The glasses hide the red eyes.. Sorted!

Memories Are Kept In Photographs.

For me, when you're sad, being with friends and having a drink always makes me feels immensely better. I love these photos cause it just shows how much fun can be had and how many memories are kept in photographs. This was one of those special night where the good, the bad and some ugly photos were taken, when saying ugly I am of course talking about my own self, I would never call these two beauts ugly! Anyway.. I don't have much to say about last night because these pictures really do speak for themselves! And I just have to promote The Midnight Beast as we did a small tribute to them in one picture.. they are really funny and amazing, I love that Maddy got me into them!
Peacee.
Cheers to the frickin' weekend, I'd drink to that..

Say Waaaatt?!?
Cutiesss!

Get your guns outt.

Torch Bearer 109.

So the Olympic Torch has been to the beautiful city of York today and made the city go wilddd! It was a gorgeous evening and I enjoyed my Starbucks frappacino whilst waiting! Luckily me and the family got a good spot where two Torch Bearers were going to exchange the light. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and I'm glad I wasn't too grumpy and went! Our man was Torch Bearer number 109 and we had a fabulous time cheering him on for our country this year. I didn't have my (brother's) camera so I'm really pleased with the outcome of my phones photos.. I went a bit mad to make sure I got good ones, hahah.

The Definition of Friendship.

I love having catch-ups with old friends, they are the best! Especially when you have been bests friends your whole life.. These pictures are so cute and are the definition of friendship. I love people and interacting it make you more confident and have more people to call your friends. Talking and laughing are two of the best ways to get ahead and not to be embarrassed, I'm sure that holds a lot of people back. And I have to admit it did that to me until this past year when I managed to come out of my shell and be good old-fashioned, lil' weary me. Not too shabby for Georgina! (Friends quote with the name changed by the way, hope you notice, and if not shame on youuuu)

This was the tester shot.. lawl

The B-E-A-U-Tiful city that is Edinburgh.

On Friday the 15th my mother and I went on our travels on an early start (5a.m.!!!) all the way up to the b-e-a-u-tiful city that is Edinburgh. I went to the university open day to experience and see what there was to offer. Apart from the horrid rain that came allll day it was good and definitely showed me my options. After getting mini-lost on the way we managed to miss the first talk but that gave us time to catch our breath and to wonder about the place and find out way around. Its a really lovely university not far at all from Princes' Street (the highstreet) and a lovely city location. IF I have the privileged of getting into that university my life will be MADE. But I do love others places too so my options are still open and other open days are booked. Though it was an early start, a lot of walking and a long day, I 'd say it was a success! Also today I passed my theory test for driving, it put me in a good mood as I have failed once before. Passing things always gives me hope for the future. Fingers crossed I do well in my exams to get me into a great uni!!
Breakie time!

Me and mum always manage to pick the quiet coach when we ain't!! haha.

Edinburgh station.

Edinburgh Olympic-ness!

Loved it, yet it was soooo wet!

Make Me Smarterrr!

So after having a few lovely weeks off over study leave and after my exams I went back to school to begin my A Levels, which is really scary! It was actually a really good day, though, with all the new information and not seeing many people in a while, it felt like it was September and we were starting a whole new year. I have found this is going to be my dream year for me because the topics of my subjects are beaut! Not many people would say the same, and most will think I'm crazy but it really encourages me if I like the subject and what it has involved. For example, in English I was given Birdsong as one of my novels to study, it did make me squeal with excitement as I loved the program when it was on the BBC so I am excited to read this and wonder why I haven't before?! When it comes to reading I'm really peculiar when it comes to books; they have to have a deep story line that has a small twist at the end. Though I do admit that I read some crap! Hopefully this year will widen my perspective to enjoy more literature, and make me smarterrrr (one can hope, right?) I'm just excited that this year will be enjoyable for me and, fingers crossed, I will work harder.
Inspire me!
P.S. I do have a blanket round me on this photo, but I like to be comfortable, and I forgot to take it off..

The Eighteenths and the Alcohol!

Last night was the first of my friends eighteenths that I am going to encounter over the next year. These two girls I have know my whole life and I have been amazingly close to them this whole time. The party was fun and scary at the same time. In a way I don't feel old enough to have 18year old friends and I don't feel like i should be turning 18 in September, its all come way too fast for me. But on the other hand I enjoy growing up and having more independence, even though my um still does my washing, haha.

I always enjoy discos, the dancing and singing to old tunes is the best part, especially when all the other young people my age have no idea what the song even is! It makes me feel like I have been educated right in the music industry, haha. I love to dress up and put but on my best heels, yet I was prepared this time with a pair of flats to save me on the dance floor and I was definitely thankful for them! I guess I'm not a high heel girl, which is silly because I'm 5"1, therefore need a bit of height to boost me up! At least make-up won't let me down, I love to experiment with eye-shadow and see what look I can create, most of the time it ends up being dark and bold. Here's to the next year, the eighteenths and the alcohol!

Before the party..

Family! x

I have to admit I enjoy ruining photos.. hehe.

iTunes-ing it Out.

I need to seriously update my iTunes on my laptop, meaning importing EVERY CD I own and re-download other songs.. argh. I thought it wouldn't take long, I mean I have about six hours today before I go out so I thought it would be done. That was before my laptop decided to uninstall iTunes and make me re-install <frustrating> then its taking a while for each CD. Funtimes iTunes-ing it out. At least it gives me time to paint my nails and get sorted for tonight ect..
This is a lot..
Also it gives me time to watch Jenna Marbles on youtube! She is so funny and a good watch, I would recommend for you to watch her. It also taught me to not be so serious on my blog.. its there to be fun and be like mee! Awesome stuff. Here's her link below..

Enjoyable Summer Outings.

I love going to country villages and having ice creams and walking. Its always so cute looking at the houses and not having to walk far! Haha. Its nice when the weather is on out side too, me and the brother always manage to have a good time and not argue which is nice and makes the outing fun. Enjoyable summer outings. I love my new denim jacket that I got from a vintage shop, it can be cosy with or without a jumper underneath and manages to keep me warm, and dry if necessary! Another thing I enjoy is the pub food, though I didn't have any this one time its always yummy to have a burger and fat chips! Always homemade, always so nice! I can't wait for my next outing and next pub meal..
Bro.

I look evil..

Funtimes at the pub!

BBQ & Jubilee-ing!

Over the past glorious few weeks I have really wanted a BBQ, I love sausages and burgers fresh from the grill. Though the weather wasn't at its best we managed to stay outside the whole time and not be rained on! Unlike my Aunties Jubilee BBQ which had us all take cover in her garage, lucky that its big and there was drink so no one noticed! Watching the Jubilee over the past few days and the Concert on Monday night made me real proud to be British! We are so lucky to have a monarch like our Queenie.. And we will definitely be lucky when we have young William and Kate on the thrown! All the bunting and flag waving is excellent. I can't believe my weeks off are coming to an end and I have to go back to school again soon.. what will that be like?! After all the relaxing and doing nothing, the BBQ's and the Jubilee-ing it will be back to sixth-form life (of course with drinks and girly get togethers mixed inbetween! By the way, I know this was a reallyyy cheesy post! Haha.
BBQ.
Girls!

One of the many failed shots I took!
